I had these painted on the car before but they never really grew on me so I wet sanded them off.
PS. I just noticed that you are in Denver. If you do decide to paint some on, let me know. I can hook you up with a guy that is incredible at it. He makes it look so easy.
Not a fan of pin-striping. Especially the Gold on white one in the pic above...with the chrome tail light covers...and chrome license plate holder... Not a fan of chrome at all, nor of mirrors in places they need not be. It's a sports car, don't ADD weight!!!!

I couldn't stand that car either, they even had wood trim in the interior. But amazinly that car won the C5 class. Sometime it's not about taste in a carshow but rather how much crap that you can put on your car!
Thin pinstripes (in the right color) to highlight the cove might look good. Pinstripes generally look better on cars with defined edges and angles. A C5/Z06 is smooth. If you decide you don't like them, they're easy to remove with denatured alcohol. That's what a pinstriper would use. It won't harm the base coat/clear coat paint.
It's your car, don't worry about what others think...
