I almost titled this post "Flickering LEDs in the rear" but thought that might send the wrong message.
Anyway, a while back I did the clear DRLs and switchbacks in the front and everything is perfect.
Then I put in LEDs in the back including brakes, turn signals, backup lights, rear side markers and license plate lights. Now when I press the unlock control on the fob, I notice that I get flickering in the license plate and side marker lights.
Is this likely a resistance issue or something else? I was thinking with all of those LEDs in the back that the car is seeing a bulb out condition and the voltage is fluctuating. Any other ideas?
I have replaced all the exterior bulbs in my car with LED's and I don't have the problem that you are describing. I do have a flasher bypass installed, but I don't see how that has anything to do with what happens when you hit the unlock on the fob.
