Thought I'd give a quick opinion on the new shifter. This is my 4th combo; stock, BPP, C6Z, and now, MGW. This one took about 20 total minutes to install, because you just change out the top part, and I've done it a few times, LOL. For those on the fence, GET THIS SHIFTER! Yes, it takes more effort, but the precision, and quality is amazing. I'm using the stock C6 ****, and MGW furnishes a two-position top half that can be rotated closer, or further from the driver. There's also two positions to screw in the retainer screw (C6) so it can be about 3/8" higher or lower. The first 4 gears are almost instinctive, but to be perfectly honest, 5th and 6th are a bit more difficult to find if you get lazy. A very firm hand is required. The throws are VERY short. This thing is the most quality built one I've seen, and totally worth the money, IMO. Much better than the MGW I installed in my old Cobra. Thanks, George, and the folks @ MGW.
