Default Coolant brand?
When replacing engine coolant, must the EOM coolant be used or can I use some other brand that’s compatible? I have an ’01.Thank you in advance for your response.

As long as it's Dexcool I don't think it matters.

I just replaced my radiator and I used the Prestone - "DEXCOOL" GM certified - got it at Pep Boys

I haven't seen the original Dexcool on sale for a while. The Havoline web page still shows it as a product.
