I wanted to take time to thank a friend of mine, mhfontaine, who recommended the forum to me when I purchased my first vette a few months ago. I bought a 98 vert with the usual problems associated with the C5's. I also want to thank all of you that post solutions to these problems. Thanks to the forum, I have replaced fog lamps, painted calipers, purchased a leather-bound owners manual, replaced a leaking surge tank, removed my blinker/light switch (took it apart and fixed my instrument cluster light problem) upgraded my tpms, key fob and receiver to an '02 model. All of this was done while avoiding the local dealerships service departments. I am not a mechanic by any means. Oil changes were pretty much my limit. Who knows, maybe I will learn how to post pics on here too!
It's amazing how much can be done if you just get in there and do it, and have a place to reference for help. Congrats on the things you've done, and thanks to every single person on the forum as well.
The forum has also cost me a lot of $$$. However, it has given me the confidence to do a lot of work on my own that I would never have otherwise done. This morning I just installed the CLB and the "flasher fix." I would never have tackled either of these jobs had it not been for the info on the forum, complete with pictorial guides. I completed both installs in less than an hour. Yes, the forum is the best kept secret in Corvette America. I say that because there must be thousands of corvette owners who should be on this forum. It would sure reduce the stress in their lives as far as Vette ownership goes!

Thanks guys!

I was thinking it was too much trouble to switch TPMS, fobs and receiver to 2001 up. How difficult is that swap? I have a 2000 coupe, and those parts are $$$$.
