Default B&B bullets?

I just installed the B&B bullets exhaust with quad tips on my z. I have vette doc series american racing LT headers no cats with x pipe. I notice after installing the exhaust the tips sticks out alittle further from the bumper then i expected. is ths normal has anyone expericed this also?

I just put those headers on my Z (although I have the cats), they have a slip joint that can be used
to adjust the tips. Just loosen the clamps, then move the tips to where you like them.
Might be a problem if the slip joint is all the way forward.
I still have the TI exhaust and when I finished the install I was too tired to mess with the tips.
Noticed they were not lined up so a few days later I adjusted them. Real easy to do!

I have the same exhaust and it definitely sticks out further than the stock Ti's. I haven't tried to adjust it though so I'll be interested to hear if anyone was able to adjust to the stock position.

I loosened up my clamps and tapped the x-pipe with a rubber mallet to try to tuck in the catback as far as possible. Mine dont stick out as far as others, but bb bullets stick out more than most for sure.

I don't think its a problem. They were just designed that way.

They stick out with my LG longtubes, highflow cats, and x pipe. You my friend have just installed the best sounding exhaust for a Corvette. Welcome to the club.

I like the sound, but they stick out an xtra 1 3/4", which I think looks slightly ricer. Theres not much you can do to set them back because they already are super close to the rear cradle. Oh well.

I will 2nd this....

When I bought my 02 Z06 it came with them. From my first ride in the car I was all smiles from the exhaust sound!

I can not wait to put on my Kooks and offroad xpipe! How much will the sound change with the long tube headers and xpipe?

There will be quite a difference. I had an 02 with just the B&B exhaust. Now I have an 03 Z with LG longtubes, highflow cats, xpipe, and Bullits. I have had phone numbers on my windshield, man and wife parked there car and stood at the White Castles drive thru the entire time to listen to my car (and they wanted to buy it), people comment about it all the time. You like the sound now wait til you finish the exhaust and with a cam it's off the charts.

I have bullets too and they stick out further than the stockers, but nothing....ricey by your description. Takes a little fussing around with, but they can line up nicely.

And definitely agree on the sound. They are tame when you want to be crusing around town in 5th or 6th gear. But drop her down to 2nd getting onto onramps and everyone turns their heads and gets out of your way, lol.

I've gotten lots of compliments as well, and definitely feel it's probably the best sounding exhaust for the C5. Can't wait to hear her after this winter when I do a full cartek H/C setup.

had them on my car for a week. Couldn't wait to get rid of them. The resonance from them is horrible and you could not recess the tips under the bumper any further. If you just like a$$ raping loud then they are for you, not however my cup of tea.

Mine stuck out about the same but were not even side to side and each side was not pointing straight back either but a little outwards. Nothing a torch and pipe to bend them into position wouldnt fix. Plus both sides brackets eventually broke as well.

Very loud WOT with 700+ rwhp but I can idle past a cop that wont even give me a second look cause I dont consider them the slightest loud at idle. People hear me comin and going though when im going through the gears...
I hated the sound of the stock Ti exhaust.
