02Z Factory Radio coded?
Does anyone know if the factory radio (02Z) is coded? I'll probably change the battery before fall and need this code to avoid a prob.

I believe that you will only have a problem if you have entered a "pin" number, for theft reasons. If you haven't done that, you should be OK. I bought a 2001 Z06 that the radio was locked, found it's code, called it in and found the unlock code, and everything was fine.
You will find out quickly, but you can get it unlocked inless than an hour, by yourself.

I've had to research the support hotline number and the dealer code several times when I have had to pull the battery. There is info on here on how to pull the radio code from a locked unit. Once you have it, you call an 800 number, enter a dealer code, (many on here), and it spits out a code to enter into your radio.
