Pop-up headlight problem
Hey everybody!
I am a new vette owner...bought a 99 coupe Fri. night. After running it through a tank of gas this weekend, I noticed that when I turn off my headlights, the drivers side motor make a seriously loud noise! Its almost like the motor is hanging and continues to try and flip down the light after it has already closed. It is loud sitting inside the car, and even louder outside of the car.
I'm sure someone has had this problem and hopefully its an easy fix.

There have been a lot of threads about the headlights, you'll have to search and see which one fits your symptoms.
If it sounds like a machine gun, then you need to replace the plastic gear with a bronze one.
Search for the head light issue, I remember reading this when my headlights were acting up.

There have been a lot of threads about the headlights, you'll have to search and see which one fits your symptoms.
If it sounds like a machine gun, then you need to replace the plastic gear with a bronze one.
