Anyone know what this is for?
I always wondered what this little badge was for below the VIN and I always forget to check other C5's if they have it. Im thinking it might be the number in the production line maybe?

I never seen one on a C5 before, My guess it is a fleet number? Rental car maybe?

Based off the way it looks cut, I doubt it was a professional install. The edges aren't straight lined, so it looks to be wedged under the glass, probably glued either by heat/time or actual tape.
LONG needle nose pliers and you should be good =P

I think it is/was an inventory or "unit" number. Looks like a faded Dymo tape gun label.

I've been doing work for new car dealers for over thirty years and I've never seen anything like this ever on any car, regardless of brand. If it's stuck to the outside of the glass I would just scrape it off.
