key fob / entry memory problems
OK i posted earlier thinking i might have a bad fob or 2.
But it seems that both fobs are fine as long as i dont turn the ignition off.
i turn the ignition off for more than about 5-6 seconds .. fob programming is gone. I have to reprogram them from them from the DIC.
Any chance there something like a always hot 12v wire to retain the memory settings after the car is turned off... next stop checking every fuse i can find

Its possible .. also found its not a full reprogram.
after it quits working .. as long as i have the key in and on in some way ..
I can just resync.
Gonna borrow a friends fob thats working see if that one works as well.
Just found it odd that it happened to 2 fobs at once.
Going to retouch any solder points i can find on the fob .. and ive already hardwired the battery connections to the PCB so its not loosing those contact points.
gotta love lady luck... shes apparently looking to teach me a lesson recently

Fixed ...
As much as it really seemed to be related to something internal.
Pulling the fobs apart and retouching the solder points that causes problems... Amazingly .. fixed both the sync problems and the passive entry.
