Chrome flakeing inside rim
The chrome on the inside of the rim is flaking and the tire leaks air at the bead. I was told that some of the chrome plated rims have had this problem. Is there a fix other than replating/replacing the rim? Also I was told that it will at some point start to flake out of the inside to the exposed part of the wheel. The rims were on the car when I bought it and are the aftermarket ZO 6 style made in China. May be time for a new set of wheels all the way around.

I would say buy new wheels--and a better quality wheel.

For the price to get them rechromed, you can just about buy a new set of reproduction wheels. That's the route I would go.
