The faceplate of my Bose got damaged and I'd like to replace it . After pulling it out, it appears the faceplate just pops off after releasing the 4 tabs (2 top, 2 bottom). Is this the case (and nothing is attached to back of it)? I'm thinking of buying a non-working Bose for parts to do this with, since my Vette only has 15,000 miles and the radio itself works fine. I'd rather not experiment on my working radio until I know what I'm dealing with, but also don't want to waste the money on a non-working one if it won't suit my needs. Thanks for the help.
