Multi-mod day - sways, fogs and corners
Had a few mods waiting to go in Mrs. Patches' Vette and the sways from Gene Culley's GB finally showed up so I got to work this morning.
Started with the C6 Z06 sway bars. These suckers are beefy: 1-3/16" rear bar (1/16" bigger than my Hotchkis rear bar) and 1-1/4" front bar (slightly smaller than my front Hotchkis bar).
No issues in mounting them - they fit perfectly. I thoroughly greased the bushings and used blue Loctite on the end links.
Stock rear
Rear stock and Z06 bars
Rear Z06 bar installed
Stock front bar
Front stock and Z06 bars
Z06 bar installed
Moved on and installed the HID fog upgrades I ordered from Jhonathan a while back. These are quite nice and now the fogs match the ACA HID's I installed a while ago.
I also swapped in the new corner lights that needed replacing due to the small cracks I discovered in both a few weeks ago. I got these new corners from the auction site for forty-five bucks! Good quality and they look much nicer.
Stock light
New corner light
Also put in some new Bosch wiper blades - this Vette is frequently driven in the rain.
We took it for a spin to check the handling with the new bars and they do indeed flatten it noticeably. Excellent upgrade - especially for the price.

Great mods! Your wife's Vette still looks like new. I think she'll like the cornering better now. Real nice

Nice mods, Patches. Mrs. Patches should be very happy.

Very nice. Are the new corners LED? Also what temp are you running on the new fogs?
