To avoid interference with all things electrical, go with the newer ceramic-based tints. Stay away from metallic-based tints. That's what a tinting shop out here told me when I redid my '89 GTA Trans Am last year.
I just did all my windows. I like the the door and windshiels but hate the back window. It looks likr crap around the top it dosent stick tight to the window around the dot matrix. if you can find one that has been done take a look and be sure you like it. Im thinking about pulling mine off

We tint all of our vehicles windows. If you lightly scuff the dot matrix with a Scotch Brite pad with soap solution that will provide a surface for the tint to adhere to. The key word is lightly and not to work your way onto the glass itself.
I have always used Madico tint,but there are other good brands like Solar Gard,Llumar,etc....
