My driver's side low beam headlight bulb will wiggle in the socket, but I cannot turn it so that I can remove it. Any ideas? Which way do I have to turn the bulb to get it out?
Just to make sure, oddly enough on the passenger side of the car, I believe I rotated the high beam counter clockwise and the low beam clockwise (looking from the back of the light towards the front of the car) to loosen them so I could remove them. Is this correct? I just don't want to be forcing the bulb a direction it does not want to go.
Do I have to remove the housing? I have no idea how to do this.
Loosened the housing assembly by removing the swivel screws using a Torx 15 and 9mm wrench. I let the housing rotate forward exposing the rear of the bulbs. One of the tabs was too aggressive at holding the bulb in, so I used a small screw driver to help the tab back out as I twisted the bulb. It worked and the car is back together now. Yipee.
PS, the bulbs turn counter clockwise to loosen, which makes sense. Ignore my statement earlier about how the bulbs turn.
