I think, performance wise, a C5Z and a C6 will be more then very close. If you have the "new car " itch, then by all means scratch it. But, if you can wait for the C6Z it will be a better deal in the long term.

^^^ C5Z and C6 are different cars performance-wise. C5Z handles better and is .5 sec faster in the 1/4 mile. It's also a more "raw" car and gives your more feedback. The C6 coupe/convertible is more of a luxury sports car.
