I was wondering if anyone here uses piloti's or other driving shoes when in their vette or other cars. I've read about them and heard they are very comfortable but I am looking for some hands on feed back. Lemme know. thanks
I have a few pairs and they are all comfortable for daily wear although I would never wear my fire retardant ones daily. do a search and you can find some close out models at a nice discount.
I wear mine all the time. I have three pairs of Prototipo's, and love them. Extremely comfortable and lightweight and the small footprint makes it so much easier to shift. Won't drive my Vette without them!

Ditto. You will find that they are so comfortable that you will ditch your Nike's.
I just recently bought a pair of the monterey style for $40 new! I like them a lot. they hurt my feet after prolonged wearing but only on the first day. they are made of real leather and suede so they had the ability to adjust some. after that one day they are not extremely comfortable, much nicer than my other shoes! they are my primary shoes to wear everywhere for everything now. they have a nomex lining which is fire retardent, but I don't really care about that. other than being very comfortable to wear, stand, and walk in they have a few other really nice features. the heel is rounded rather than coming to a point like most athletic shoes. while driving that sharp angled edge is what rests on the floor boards and is very uncomfortable. plus most athletic shoes have intentially wide footprints, these have adequite footprints but not artificially larger. they also have an extra rubberized pad wrapping partially around the right side of the right foot only, to aide in heel-toeing. they are also much lighter weight than most other shoes I've had. they really are very nice to drive in, and comfortable for every day use.

We have Piloti's in stock - you can PM me with your style/color/size and I can help you out. If you happen to pick one that I have in stock, we can work out something. You can give me a call or send me a PM!
I was in about a 13. Played football in high school and had to buy my own cleats (size 15) as the school didn't have any. Waste of $50 as I sat the bench most of the year!

I came home the other day and he had my shoes on. He says, they are a little big Dad, but I could roll with them.
I'm thinking maybe a 13 or 14 by the time he is all done...
I've got a pair & like them a lot! I decided to wear them around the house to break them in b-4 using them in the vette, it worked so well I still use them around the house like house slippers.
