The Active Handling light comes on and the AH codes are thrown whenever I use the 4-way flashers. Any ideas on where to look for a connection between the two circuits?

2002 Roadster - No mods.

Maybe you got a bad flasher unit.

I don't see how the two are connected.

Well, the flasher seems to be working okay. Is there any way to test it for whatever? I thought they either worked or they didn't. The cause and effect is repeatable - turn on the flashers then as soon as you turn them off the active handling starts its fits. I don't get it.

On my wife's 2003 Chevy Venture if a brake light is out two strange things will happen. Trac Off light will intermittently come on and the cruise control will not work at all. Open up the lights, replace or sometimes just wiggle the bulbs and everything is back to normal. (The rear tail light circuit boards on these vans are known to be defective)

They got these newer cars doing some strange things! Just a WAG.
