I accidentally touched the 2 wires together on the 12v center console socket (another story) that I cut (orange and black). I guess the fuse that blew is on the same circuit as the A/C cause the A/C didn't work. I used the 20A fuse for the hazards for the fuse that blew thinking I wouldnt need hazards for a temporary trip to get some fuses. Well the hazard fuse must be on the same circuit as the brake lights because my brake lights didnt work and I got a check engine light for service traction control and active handling.
replaced the fuse disconnected battery, reconnected and the check engine light stayed off.

Hope that's all it was??
Sounds like the famous loose ground or Abs module rebuild
Mine came on all the time also, then it just stopped, for a month I didn't see it, then yesterday it came on again, but just once. I don't get it either
If you've disconnected your battery recently make sure you have the pos. and neg. connections real tight. I was getting the Service Active Handling message on the D.I.C. from a loose ground connection at the battery. After tightening it up, it went away and hasn't come back.
Mine just start showing to D.I.C. Check Active Handling.
Also showing Check Traction Control. It comes sometimes, but not that often.
Usually, once you turn off engine, it's fine, but not this time.
