Hi
I am not sure if this is fact or fiction, i was talking with an Chev enthusiast that has a few hot cars, and he had mentioned to me that GN had installed the LS6 manifold on most of the 2002 corvettes as they had run out of the LS1 manifolds, and this was not disclosed to the public, somehow this guy gets inside scoop on stuff like that, does anyone know if this is true, or how to tell the difference between the two intakes ?
thanks,,,happy motoring
thanks for your replies, i was trying to find something on the net, but i should have just asked here first, i asked about cat back here awhile ago and got great responses, corsica vs borla pro and cons, i chose the corsica, sounds great, no drone, thanks again everyone.
Thanks for the info as I did not know this. I was actutally thinking of buying an LS6 intake when I have my mods done if the FAST 92 isn't in my budget.
For a company to manufacturer and stock two almost identical parts seems to be a waste of $$.
Add in the logistics of managing the inventory of the two items making sure the right part gets to the right place at the right time just adds to the cost.
