Dude...my '03 is in the shop for the exact same thing (and other things 
). My driver's side outer and inner fenders were destroyed and I saw where pieces of the inner wheelhouse stayed attached to the frame. I have NO idea how they are going to get it off before putting on the new one. It's defintley some strong epoxy...I tried chiseling it off and I couldn't do it.

from what i can tell you need to use a few self tapping screws after you bond the inner fender on to hold it just right
