this is in 100 degree heat too guys!!!
NO nitrous was used during these runs. waiting on getting a new kit from nitrous daves
mods.
straightline performance 408, forged internals, comp nitrous cam, trickflow heads, ported ls2 90 intake, 90mm tb, speed inc fuel rails, stg 6 rpm trans,stg 3 diff w3.90's quaife rearend,yank pt3400 converter m/t et streets ccw drag pak, kooks 1 7/8 headers 3x3 off road x pipe, b&b tri flo exhaust,

you sound like me for the past couple of years...lol i could never make it out and was always afraid of breaking. but now that i've pretty much upgraded everything i feel alot safer!!!

Sounded like you shifted @ low rpms into second gear. I watched it twice and it sure sounded like it wasn t revving very high when u shifted.

we were making changes in the lap top during my 3 runs during the day.
this was the first pass where it short shifted at 5800 rpms. .. very good eyes and ears. we made the changes in the comp and the next runs were all shifted at 6400.
although this was the fastest pass of the day .. because it got very hot. and the intake air temps were actually pulling timing right off the line. lotta heat with the iron block and the cars in the pits. midway down the track the car put the timing back in it
