I love mine painted, when hood down the lines look great to window. You may not notice yours as much being black but with a black gloss it would look great.[IMG][/IMG]

Actually, while we are on this subject, my cowl has a couple of cracks in it. Anybody know where I can get a replacement?

To stay on topic, I'll paint it when I get it.

I think it is a real nice touch. I will eventually pick up an additional to paint.

I painted mine last year. It really needs it. Stock is too dull. Sorry I don't have any on the car.

I like the look of the painted wiper cowls. Are you guys painting these at home or having a shop paint them? How much are we talking about to get it painted?

Keep the pics coming. Anyone have an Electron Blue painted cowl?

Not too hard. Follow this up until the cowl is removed: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...rocedures.html

I did my own. It's pretty simple. Just clean it up, scuff it, then paint it. I didn't try to get a car like smooth finish on mine.

Thanks a bunch folks...I appreciate all the responses and PICS!!! 95% sure I'm going to have the body shop paint it now after seeing these. I was just concerned about it looking cheesy but the pics I see look pretty damn good.

The only thing that concerns me are the wiper arms...I'm still undecided on painting them, I kinda like them painted and I kinda don't from what I've seen.
