Default Need odometer corrected after HUD cluster install

I can't seem to find anybody that can fix the odometer to the correct mileage. I put a HUD cluster in my 97 vette and the mileage is way off. I would like to have it set correct for the car. I can't change the board because my old one is a non HUD unit and it also is messed up. I have a friend at the dealer but he said he can only do the new clusters and not used. I thought there was two members on here that could do it but not for sure, One guy on here hasn't been online in a long time. I did find a couple places doing a yahoo search but they never would respond to my email. Anybody know where I can send the new cluster to get the odometer corrected?

Speedometer repair places or the dealers is about it. I saw a thread a while back with a name in here of someone who can do this, but I truly don't remember which thread it was.

As I said in your other post, The dealer will have to send it out for you, That is what I did. It will be treated just like you bought a new one from the dealer, Don't take no for an answer.

Hmm, he told me they can't send them off. He said they just do it there but only on new clusters.

You might check with another dealer, If you buy a new IP for the C5 they can program your miles in it. I

Buy him a damn six-pack and meet him after hours at the dealer!

Hopefully a member that has access to a Tech II will step up to the plate for you!!!!!

There is a member here that can do it. Forgot the name and I don't want to mention the wrong one... but if my memory serves correct he has a pace car.

I believe it is set through the Tech II system.

Find another dealer, of course that's getting more difficult these days.
