Good Guy; Bad Luck
Wanted to say THANKS 
to CENZO. He agreed a few weeks ago to sell me his essentially unused smoked targa for a fair price. He was traveling from lower MD to Bucks County PA today so we agreed to meet at the PA welcome center on I95 just past the DE border to do the deal. On time, as advertised, no hassles (for me). Great guy.
Just his luck -- his front passenger tire lost some of the inside tread (aggressive alignment, perhaps?) a few miles before he arrived; the driver's side did not look all that great. (He told me there were 26K miles on the tires but I would expect the fronts to last longer.) Anyway, because he has "run-flats" he and his passenger decided to press on, knowing there is a Costco very near his destination about 30 miles up the road.
There was really nothing I could do to help (as he said, "I have towing insurance and you don't have xtra front tires, do you?") so here's hoping all went well....
