I have an '04 automatic. So far it's been great--no problems--but there's one annoying little thing that's been bugging me since I bought the car. Most of the time, when I pull away from a stop, there's a very brief low-frequency "vibration" noise that seems to come from somewhere in the rear-end of the car. Seems to be related to the speed of the engine just off idle. My guess is that it's something in the exhaust system--a shield or something vibrating against something else as the engine comes off idle--but I have no way to verify that.
Anybody else notice the same thing, or have other ideas? It's not a big deal, but it sounds kinda cheesy, so I'd like to fix it if I can.
I had a similar noise coming from mine for months. Turned out to be the a/c tensioner. $187 fix at Corvettes of Dallas. Hope yours is as cheap and easy. Good luck
Any decent performance shop will check the the springs, as well as the cats, if you tell them you have an exhaust rattle. LG checked that first thing on mine. Unfortunately, that wasn't my issue, but they replaced half of the H pipe at no cost anyway. Good people
Keep in mind that many rattles or vibrations originating in other areas will travel the length of the exhaust

I think I had that same problem when my LG Streets were installed, the whole package, cats/x-pipe, seems the long tubes were just a hair too close to the tunnel plate, when I took off from a stop, it moved just enough to vibrate. Brought it back and the guys corrected the problem. Hope this helps.
