I've looked through the forum and all I see is OEM style wheels. Is there a reason for this? I'm about to take delivery of my new (to me) Vette and it needs new wheels. Only ones I've seen that I like are these style picture below. Not sure what models they are or what size wheels I should be looking for. Tires are still good on my OEM wheels so I would like to use them until they are gonners. I will want to do the drop as well. Does it cause rubbing problems in the wells?
Should I just stick with OEM Wheels and why? If so, are the ones pictured below a certain model year? Thanks for the help.
That's funny that you think those wheels are OEM C5 wheels
Those wheels pictured are CcW's... Probably the most popular aftermarket wheel, aside from repro's. They are certainly the best deal for forged wheels.
I cannot believe thats all you could find on here! there are a ton of guys with aftermarket wheels. One of the vendors did a thread on here a short while ago about a new wheel they were releasing, pretty sharp if you want bigger sizes. Heres another option for you to look at. These are Fikse FM10, factory sizes. My car is also lowered on factory bolts (I think its about one inch all the way around)
IRON MAIDEN, after reading your post again, it looks like maybe you are wanting go with stock size in a different style. Good luck with that. Not too many companies make wheels in stock C5 sizes. Seems like they all think we want to go up to at least a 19" Mine are stock size, so I guess Fikse makes them, or did. they were on the car when I got it. Good luck

There are plenty of cars pictured on the forum that have other than stock looking wheels on them. Wheel companies like I-Forged, CCW, HRE, and Cray are popular, as well as some specially made for some of our vendors here.
