Im thinking of getting some Michelin PS2's for my 2004 Z06. I live in Colorado.
Here's what I'm looking for. More progressive break-away in dry to instill confidence - eliminate some snap oversteer at limit. Improvement in wet traction during rain, cooler temps (9/12 mo's my morning commute T < 60F), and some grip in unpredicted light snow (say < 0.25") to get it home in fall/spring.
I'm installing 275/35/18 ft's and 305/30/19 re's PS2's on my new IForged rims. Most of my friends in the Santa Barbara Corvette club think they are the best all around but expensive. I also liked the Yokahama Advan Neova AD08's and alot of guys like the Nitto Ivo's. I just feel more confortable with the Michelin but they may not be exactly what you are looking for. Lots of great tires out there!
no.. PS2's are not for you if you drive in weather below 60* (I think this is the manf. recommendation). a few have posted on their experiences with them in cold.. ick..
all weather i think i would try a continental tire..
I have Blizzak LM-25s that are made for sports sedans. In case I ever get caught in a surprise snow storm. They are multiple sizes and actually deliver decent straight line grip at or near stock power level. The best thing about them in the turns is that they are predictable. Shoot me a PM if you want to more. I also have a set for sale with 2500 miles on them and plenty of tread.
