Column lock recall ?

Column lock recall ?
I stopped by the local chevy dealer today, gave em my VIN and the column recall had been completed on my car. So do I still need a CLB? I don't want to get stuck in bfe!

It wont hurt to get the CLB installed also. I had the recall done one mine a week after I bought the car, which was over six years ago, because it locked up on me. I have not installed the CLB but I do have one just incase.

Do a search on Column Lock for say the last 3 weeks and see how many people have been stranded by either the column locking or the fuel shutoff and make your decision after you read a few threads. Or if you really want some shock treatment do the search for the past 2 months.
