Can someone please tell me what this is and where it goes? I think I know but I'm not sure.

The pic is awful blurry...but it looks like the interior ambient temp sensor...if it is it goes behind a small grille near the ignition switch...What are the dimensions???...The sensor Im speaking of is only about an inch long..

Yeah I think you are correct. Its about an inch long and thats where I thought it went. Not sure how to get it back in there though. I know how to get everything off, just not sure how that thing sits in there. Sorry about the blurry pic.

interior ambient temp sensor. I believe the connector faces down and the round portion, the rear slides into a round HVAC duct located behind where it mounts...

I'm pretty sure it's the temp sensor too. I pulled my interior apart not long ago and I remember it.

How the heck did you get it out without seeing it? lol

It just like fell out on the floor one day?

Nah I have had the interior apart a bunch of times and never really noticed it until now.
