Guys . I have a question about a stock exhaust. What will a Corsa X pipe do for a stock exhaust as far as sound goes? This is a stock C5....for now!
thanks

Nothing - x-pipes don't add or decrease sound, they simplysmooth out the exhaust pulses between the two sides.
Was always under the impression that X-pipes quiet the popping sound while decelerating. I have one but never installed it. Didn't want to lose that sound.

True,,but he wouldn't hear that with stock mufflers anyhow!! An X would not really do anything for a stock cat back,,however it wouldn't hurt (might pick up a lb. ft. or 2 of torque) and you'd be ready if you got an aftermarket cat back some day!!

It will smooth out the exhaust flow a bit, but probably won't do a thing for the sound. I would wait until you decide to change over to an aftermarket cat back system (if you do) to add an x-pipe.
