Although I have never installed a set of headers on any car, they seem to be manageable by anyone with basic mechanical skills. After I find the best deal on a header system, I will attempt the install myself.
I was rather intimidated with replacing a lot of my stock parts with upgrades like sway bars/endlinks, shocks and brake rotors/calipers; however after doing my research all the jobs were completed with no problems. A lot of the info I used was found right here on the forum and other internet sites.

the OBX comes with resonators currently. I would say no they would not pass emmisions. Visual yes
I was reffering to the install as with the OBX headers and some of the others they are designed for the 01 to 04 cars. GM changed the airtube on the passenger side from the 3rd pipe to the second in 01. So your stock airtube will not fit on a header that is like this for setup. You can get an 01 to 04 peice and it will bolt up fine. The didpstick tube is slightly different as well. I modified mine to fit(i have a 99)
OBX is coming out with both options cats or resonators. I am hoping as soon as the next shipment they get in(october) as right now I can not even get any to sell till then.
Feel free to PM me with more questions if you like.

If you have some mechanical skills, you should be able to install a set of headers. Just have to get the car off the ground a bit - a good floor jack and jack stands should do the trick.
