when I try to start the car it will turn over but will not start. It will sometimes have a fast clicking sound like the battery is dead or just tries to start but does not seem to fire or be getting gas. The display will also flash on and off when it will not start the chimes will sound repeatedly. We dont think the security light stays on when it does or does not start. We have replaced the battery with one from another corvette and this has not fixed or moved the problem to the other one. I have also replaced the lock cylinder in the dash and purchased a new key and this has not fixed the problem. The ground on the driver front was checked and it was really clean and had no corrosion. We have had it in to the dealer and the car acts ok when there, and they suggest to replace the bcm then the pcm to try to fix it. The car will start some of the time without a problem. Recently we have noticed that when the car does not want to start we will move the key in and out of the cylinder then turn it and it will usually start but not 100 percent of the time. When the car does not want to start the needles in the dash do not peg. When it does start the telescopic steering does not come out all the time and once the seats did not move. The service active handling light will come on most of the time after a short trip. Sometimes service vehicle soon also comes on. the codes currently displayed now are 10-pcm p1518 h, p1571 h 28-TCS C1277 h C1288 h, 40-BCM b0432 H C, 58-sdm u1040 h, ao-ldcm u1064 h, 58-sdm u1040h, a1-rdcm u1064 h, a6-scm b2605 h 2607 2606 2860, b0-rfa u1000 h u1064 h. Any ideas what may be causing it to not start? what would you suggest next. We are all ears and hope you can help.
