What does Firethorn red interior look like ??

Thank you. I found a car with what looks like torch red interior but it was not offered that year so I wanted to make sure I knew what Firethorn looked like. The car does indeed have torch red interior ???? maybe a special order car.

I always thought torch red had more of a pure or mod red look to it, whereas Firethorn had more of an orange tint.
Can anyone else confirm? The reason I'm asking is I plan to add some red interior components and want to make sure I'm getting red vs. an orangish red.

I found a speedway white coupe with torch red interior. I looked up production numbers and there was no option for torch red interior in 2002, only firethorn red. Was this a special order car? would there be an option code in the glove box for the interior color? I want to make sure it was factory done vs. backyard done. I used to have an electron blue 2002 with torch red and it was ordered that way so I know it can be done. Would white/red be somewhat rare?

If you are going to put red in the interior of your MSG, then my recommendation would be to go with the torch red stuff. It will look great with that color.

I looked up the production specs for 2002 and only 4 interior colors were optioned. Torch red was not one of them??

If I read it right, there was only 879 speedway white coupes in 02 and torch red would have to be a special order. Is that correct?
This was my 2002 vert with torch red interior. It had to be custom ordered that way with $5000 deposit to make sure the dealer would not get stuck with it.

I happen to have owned a 2002 Corvette and have the origional sales brochure which cetainly does show Torch Red as an optional Interior choice.
I also posted a picture above in this same thread of a 2002 Electron Blue vert with TORCH RED interior.
You can bet the house that there was a Torch Red Interior option in 2002...

It was an option, I have a code for it in the glove box.
