American Racing Headers - Yes - No
I was at Carlisle on Friday and they had the Headers for my C5 coupe and I have Borla mufflers. My question is they can install them on Sunday but wanted to know if I would notice a difference in sound with them as I have no other MODs on my car and wanted to know for $1900 would I notice a big difference in sound> Thanks for the help and short notice.

You will notice a big difference. 
Go by ECS and get a $99 tune after the header install and you will be very happy indeed!

Doug at ECS will make your car come alive. Hands down the best $99 you can spend. Better power, better fuel economy and for automatics, much better shifting response.

Headers are a great performance add, but there are better performance items you could spend two grand on in my opinion
I just can't IMAGINE spending over $1000 for headers

I dont agree with this. H/C/I cars do great with larger headers. I have the 1 7/8s with 3" collector, and a 3" X pipe and I made excellent power. 460-400 on a dynojet that puts out Mustang Dyno numbers.
Is $1900 the installed price? I got my setup from Lethal Performance in San Antonio for $1450 + install.
