New Tires
I am looking at getting either the Toyo RA-1's or the Toyo R888 fpr my Z06 and I wondered are these tires safe for street use. Also are they safe if I decided to take them on a longer road trip. I do not daily drive. I only put like 50 miles a week on the car. How long should they last since they are R compound. These are just a couple of choices for me since the rear tires are 335/30/18.

Road trip? I would go with the RA-1's...
The RA-1's will last longer than the R888's.
Both tires are safe for road trips but what kind of road trips? like 500 miles?
Go with the RA-1 if you considering longer driving...

I just want to make sure that if we decide to take the car to Missouri to visit family I wouldnt have to worry about tires too much. It would be about an 8 hour drive. I may just go with some BFG KDW 2
