I used their services - rebuilt unit worked properly and they did a very quick turn around. I did not spend the extra $ on the surge protection or sealing. Unit has a gasket stock so it should not need sealing.

I spent the extra for the surge protection. Not sure if it is worth it, but hopefully I'll never know.
The turn around was quick and the unit worked perfectly. IMHO I think it was a great deal and the extra money for the surge protection is a small price for the added insurance.
