Dead battery!
Every time i go to start my car it seems as if my battery is dead and as if the car isnt going to start. My fuel gauge resets and it shows my odometer as if i disconnected the battery. Iver checked the connections to the battery and everything seems to be fine. My battery voltage stays between 13.5-14.2. Also everytime i roll my windows up, hit my brakes, or use my turn signal i cant watch my battery voltage drop to 12. My lights also dim everytime I hit my brakes or use the windows. Ive let the car sit to charge the battery and have driven around and yet doesn't seem to charge. Its a brand new red top optima battery. Can anyone please help me resolve this issue?

I have heard from a Optima rep that the Optima's either die within the first 6 months, or last forever.... You might be one of the early failures. It is supposed to have a replacement warranty. I would look into that.
