Has anyone swapped out their interior?
I dont like the 2-tone in mine. I have a mag red car with the black/oak interior. I REALLY want all black interior.
Has anyone done this and tell me how hard it was and approx what the costs involved were?
Hey there, I got together with my buddy from the forum, Ray. Anyways,
we swapped interiors, he wanted my black pieces and I wanted to do a twotone beige, I like how it came out, unique Im thinkin, I think you will find some pics under my profile if ya wanna see
i saw your pics. Very nice. I just want the opposite, LOL. I want all black! Maybe i could get my doors and stuff in Mag Red and do a red/black theme like the C4's had. I really like the doors on those cars.

May be a good opportunity to do some custom seats.
I did some work on my wife's white '01 vert last year. It had dirty gray interior and I picked up a black carpet set off the 'for sale' forum, and I put custom white seats in it.
I'd bet that if you are patient, you can find most of the pieces you want on the forum. If you get used seat covers, though, be sure to check for the infamous bolster wear.
sadly I have bolster wear on my DS seat now. Also thinking of black C6 seats. Saw a recent post saying they bolt right in. How difficult was it to remove all the old carpet and install the new?

Thank you!

I wish I'd kept my black interior to pass on to you but,I got rid of it a few years back. I'm actually getting ready to swap out my interior again for the 2nd time,I had base black, then went with black/yellow and now getting ready for black/silver. The shift boots and console cover install are pretty straight-forward but,I wouldn't even attempt to do the seat covers or carpet,it's beyond my skill level. You might want to contact forum member CarSkinZ.(Chris Smith) 636-227-7569. He could give you an estimate as to what kind of labor costs it would take for the install,he's doing mine at the end of the month. Good luck
