That's the nice thing about vinyl stripes. You can remove them when you tire of the look. Personally, I thought your car looked great with stripes, but the hood one was a bit crooked.
like it, when I was shopping in 04 for a car in dallas, part of the deal was to remove stripes from z-16 I was looking at, unfortunately frank parra and I couldn't agree on price so I bought a great 1-owner EB 03Z and have never regretted it.
I think the stripes really made your black car stand out and pop. Without the stripes, you now have another black Z06.
But, it's your car...
I didnt mind them either way, just going for a more 'clean' look. Plus some of my other corvette enthusiast buddies liked to give me a hard time for having z16 stripes on a non-z16, I gave in to the peer pressure
Is that 3rd gen RX-7 yours? I really want one of those cars.
No, its a friend's. It has a 480whp ls1 under the hood too

Yes, they were... granted they do look funny in those pics, but they def. were straight (I could post more pictures, but that would detract from this thread)

They may have been straight......However they were not spaced as they
are on a Z16.
Trust me.
Z16 #909
I vote no stripes. I hate it when people try to make their car look like something that it is not. It's a black Z, not a Z16. Keep the stripes off and leave that look where it belongs...on a Z16.
Looks good either way i think, ive been debating ordering the Z16 stripes for my car. I wouldn't be trying to make it a Z16, just wanted to stand out a lil. (though polished wheels wouldnt hurt either)
