Was wandering what would be some good next mods (no exhaust mods plz)? So far got BlackWing Filter, Vararam Intake duct, skip shift, shorty antenna. Waiting for my tune details to get worked out from Trifecta Performance.

Looking for power/suspension mods. No exhaust mods as my dad says its already loud enough. So I was thinking ported tb, ported intake mani, and sways. But you guys know way more about the car then I do so any help?

Not sure what year or model vette you have but if you go ported tb and intake i got an ls6 setup for sale right now. Going off of the mods listed go short shifter i.e. c6z06 shifter. Not really power but you will feel the difference.

Find yourself some B&B shorty headers...they don't make your car any louder, and you'll pick up 10-12hp to the rear wheels. That's more than you'll get from a TB. Couple that with an X-Pipe, and the car might actually sound a bit quieter under most throttle conditions.

If exhaust is truly off the table, I would find a mild streetable cam that works well with the LS6 heads (assuming you have a C5Z). If you want to get crazy, you can go heads and cam...but without the proper exhaust mods (LT headers), you're missing out on a lot of HP gains.

If that won't work...go FI with bolt on S/C kit and you're done.

You already have an LS6 intake manifold on the Z06.

You can hand port yours for nothing. Dremel, fine sand paper and your there. If you ever felt around in the factory intake there are alot of burrs in it.

I do have a ported one but it's not worth you paying me $350 for mine when you could do it yourself as well or take yours to someone and have them port it for probably $200. If you port your tb do not hit the lip where the plate meets the housing, only port the outer piece that the coupler covers.

Stock intake can be ported. It's hard to say for me on the performance gain because I did mine when I installed the cam, asp pulley, yella terra rockers, prc dual springs. I needed a retune with all of this stuff, not sure if you will need a retune if you just port the intake and tb. Someone will jump in and let you know. I know when I put my FAST92/90 setup on it definitely needed a retune.

Try a ZR-1 purchase....spend 15k and that isn't as good as someone you heard about so spend another 15k to get something that stays in the shop...buy it already done at someone else's loss....Don't even ask why I'm such an all seeing wizzard, especially not my wife !

Great list so far.

What about Euro tail lights and did you paint in/fill in Corvette on the back side of the car?

Nice bum mirrored Corvette plate between the tail pipes always looks good.

No exhaust - what about tips? Lloyd matts...

i think we are gonna go with a dyno tune. since the intake duct its maxing out the long term fuel trims so we would benefit alot from tuning it
