I was cruising on the freeway doing about 70 mph when I felt my car pull to the right a little and noticed the active handling light came on. Then after it went away a message came up saying "service vehicle soon/service active handling" NO ABS problem. Already sent it to the ABS fixer a few months ago. I got to my destination, killed the engine...cranked it back up and nothing. As if it never happened...wtf...

Pulling DIC codes:
1. Have pen and paper ready.
2. Turn key on and let message cycle through (Vette by Chevy).
3. Press and hold the options button down.
4. Press the fuel button rapidly four (4) times.
5. Write down the codes and make a post for explanation or IM/e-mail me.
Codes that have a trailing “C” or “H” after them indicate a current or history code.
I had the exact same thing happen to me last month. I assumed a faulty wheel speed sensor. Took it to the dealership and it turned out to be a bad steering wheel position sensor (replaced under warranty). They had half of my interior torn out to replace it.

I hope that's not what it is bc mine's not under warranty. It seems like every sensor on this car sucks at sensing...
All the "H's" are history codes and have been cleared. The only current one is "B0361 Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND ".. I dont see how that would be related though, but im no expert. For future reference, check out this site - http://www.stengel.net/diccodes.htm

C1287H, steering sensor rate malfunction. That's your steering wheel sensor. Since it is a history code(meaning it HAS happened, but is not currently happening) clear the code, and see if it happens again. If it does, you'll have to replace the sensor. There is a DIY on this somewhere, I read it last year. It really isn't THAT hard of a job, if you take your time. You just will be spending a lot of time in the floorboard area.
As for the B0361, make sure all your HVAC controls are working properly. Heat, AC, goes from point to point when you change it(defrost, feet, face, feet/face, feet/defrost).
Let us know how it goes.

That's an HVAC code, means his left actuator is possibly shorted to ground and not working properly.
