Just read up on their website (google up Gaslock, and make sure to click the little english flag in the lower left if it shows up in German). Looks like it's some kind of motion / position sensor setup, sounds like the setup is pretty simple and straightforward.

I'd like to know as well. My guess is that it's a mustang shifter bezel. It looks a little more rounded than ours. I'm thinking he probably bought a mustang one and modified the actual dash of the car so that it would fit. I helped a friend do that to his F-Body and it actually ended up looking pretty good...

Back in the early 80s when living in NJ, had some friends who hunted. They were making shift ***** out of deer hooves. Had one for my '73 Opel GT. Don't know how that would go over in Kalifornia these days, though.
