I think that the C5 is the best appointed Vette of them all. With it's ground breaking technology and looks it's just my favorite.

I love all Vettes on the road

Seems to me I'm getting more compliments on my C5 than I did with the C4; also, and surprising to me, more non-Vette folks tell me they like the C5's better than C6's (a car I love and will own in a few years).

To me, the c-5 is the best looking Vette ever built with the possable exception of the "57" Corvette roadster! For that matter, the "63" split window was way cool too! Oh Hell, I love em all...

I stare at them on the road too - I think viewing them from a lower perspective like you do seated in the car makes them look even better. I like seeing them coming up in the rear view mirror - Really look low and wide - and mean.

I agree, I like the curves of the C5. I don't like the more angular C6 as much (It is still a great looking car).

I also liked the old Jaguar XKE, nice rounded curves and a huge hood.

My favorite car is the old 1960's, 2 seat Cobra, especially the 427 version. I was going to build a replica, until I found out how "undriveable" they are (cramped, too hot, and handle poorly).

Yes, I agree as well. When my roomate after High School had an 85/C4, I loved the looks of that car as well as the looks of the subsequent iterations of the C4. Then the C5 came out and that was it, the best looking Vette by far.

It is wide and low. I also like seeing them in my rear view when the follow as happened to me just yesterday, a silver one was behind me looking sweet.

I love the view from behind the steering wheel too, all around, it is a beautiful car.

A fine car to look at, and drive. When you have a group cruising, or when they are all lined up at car shows, man, what a sight.

You're not the only one that does this . True story,

One weekend a few months ago I spend a morning washing and waxing my triple black '04 Vert and got it all nice and clean and shiny. About 3pm I had to head to work (swing shift) so I drop the top and head off to work. I hit the onramp to US-95 north and mash the gas just having a little fun with the 0-70mph run to merge onto the highway and as I pull into the right hand lane and set the cruise on 70 I look in the rear view and see an Lamborghini Gallardo and a Farrari F430 cruising up behind me. They both quickly caught up and slowed down to match my speed and we made the 30 mile run up to Indian Springs together; Me ogling their cars and them giving me 's the whole way. That was probably the most fun I've ever had going to work. I also got questioned by some of my Airmen about it. It appears they noticed when I blasted past the bus they were riding to work with two exotic's

They are mezmerizing. I absolutely CANNOT walk away from my car without turning to look at it. I have had joggers, mall walkers, kids on bikes and people in the car next to me at a light all comment on how good the car looks. Women use "beautiful" and guys use "nice". I am not being biased because if it wasn't mine, I would be the one admiring it. The stance, the curves, the look of motion while standing still, the shine, the wheels, all of it just perfect.

I don't drive mine much anymore, but nearly every day after work or before going to bed I'll walk into my garage and just stare for minute or two.

I admire what the C5 is.

later generations offer improved styling (i.e. interior)

I have had my C5 Z for over three years now and its looks haven't grown old for me at all... and I do enjoy looking at other C5's especially when circumstances don't allow me to drive mine.

I like the C5 looks over the C6 too, but I wonder if it's just because i drive a C5. I'm sure I'd like the looks of a C6 better, if i had one
I love looking at corvettes

I am a C5 groupie, I have to admit it......
All vettes to me are a work of art, I love the shape of the early C3's.
The C5 to my eyes is just so fluid and sleek ......

How lucky we are to have such wonderful toys.......
We definitely live in the greatest country in the world..

I think I get more compliments on my C5 then any of the other Vettes I've owned in the last 25 years. I thought about stepping up to a C6 Callaway Conv. But, it all comes down to, even after 11 years, I just like the looks of the C5 a lot more.
