Default Headers at Carlisle (Lots of pics, beware)

Got American Racing Headers at Carlisle and wanted to share!

Nick, Georgea (sp?) and the rest of the guys were great, and if you can spot him even one of our own Corvette Forum Peeps in the pictures doing the install

On the lift

Watch your hands while on the ride kids!

Finally up!

Back down

Where do these go?

Looky here

Back Up

Something fell out

Working on it!

Still working on it...

Ain't it purdy

Nick put his hands here and said "Cough!"

Down, Finally

Backing out....

Road Blocker!

Then on to Chuck CoW for the tune!

As for the headers....they're great! They look great and perform as stated i'm completely satisfied.

Once again thanks to Nick, Georgea (sp?), Steve Doten and the guy helping him do the install and all the guys at ARHeaders.

On a side note the lifts above are made by the guy Jason Wood in all of the Backyard Buddy videos, he's a partner with a commerical lift manufacturer and is now pushing these. I dentical, almost, to the Backyard Buddy and apparently $1500.00 cheaper..

Mine are cool after 3 years, no problems. I did the headers, intake, rear end, and torque converter on one trip. It made a big difference. I think the total bill was 5K? Maybe it was 4K, and the Koni shocks were another 1K?

The ARHs made a big difference on my C5!! Them along with Vararam, 3.42 gears with the A4 and Corsa exhaust changed the attitude of the car for sure. I'm lovin it!!

Here's a quote from the original thread.

Guys, As the big show is approaching, we thought this would be the best time to make the announcement and give you an opportunity to get your name on the list for your very own set of American Racing Headers installed in Carlisle. If you missed your chance last year due to scheduling constaints, don't take a chance and wait, get your name on the list now. Corvette's at Carlisle is scheduled for August 28-30 but we'll be there from the 27th (Thursday thru Sunday).

Install pricing will be the same as last year for both the C5 and C6/ZO6's. ZR1's are also welcome to get on board. As usual the Vette Doctors will be under our tent but you'll also have ECS, Cartek and C.O.W. in the immediate area working their tuning magic.

The show install pricing is $1895.00 for catted C5 systems in 1-3/4" or 1-7/8". C6 and C6/ZO6 will be $1945.00. ZO6 customers are welcome to bring fresh motor oil (or we can supply Mobil One at an additional cost) as the oil will be drained during the install anyway.

For those that aren't familiar with A.R. Headers, we offer header systems that are 100% U.S. made, using the highest quality 304 S/S. You'll find our systems on all the quickest and fastest C5's and C6's in the world. With designs and features that others can only copy, it doesn't get better than this.

Here's a little incentive to get on the list early. The first 30 names taken for appointment will be placed in a hat. We will draw the name the Wednesday before the show and THE WINNER WILL GET HIS SYSTEM AND THE INSTALLATION FOR FREE. You read right!!

I can be reached at 631-608-1986. Have a great summer and see you at Carlisle.
It's worth it, between the tune and the headers it's definitely a different Vert!

Wife drove it for the first time today by herself, said it scared her a little bit and when she got home she rev'ed it a little and set the alarm off in the house with that said you can still have the radio on, talk to the passenger, and even carry on a cell phone conversation while cruising down the interstate at 75-85

Loving it so far

COD, It was a pleasure to serve you. Glad you like the system and we appreciate you choosing ARH. We'd love to see you again next year so please stop by the booth. All the best.

I was debating between American racing or LG headers. I think I will get the American Racing . My mechanic recommends American Racing too.

I had a time set to get on Sunday at Carlisle and talked to them on Frida when I was there but went home Friday and was coming up on Sunday but we got hit with 4 hours of rain on Sunday AM and did not want to do the 3 hour drive in the rain. Need to get them as I hear they are great and want to get them done..........
