I am in the Chesapeake, VA area for the weekend and I brought the vert down for the weekend. I just want to see if there is any kind of car chow or corvette gathering going on in the area of Chesapeake, Norfolk or VA Beach. If I could find something, I would like to come in and check out some other vettes and maybe say hi to some other forum members. If anyone knows of anything, give me a shout back and let me know.
shoot....wish I would have caught this earlier...there is a show at the Chevy dealer in Churchland (Portsmouth). It may still be going now...but probably finishing up. It was nice...probably 75 cars or so....vettes, camaros (new and old), chevelles...etc. Nice show! A few hotties wondering around as well!
A little bit too late now, but I'm 50 miles from VB and I'd like to know how often do you guys get together and/or when is it going to be the next car show.
There's a nice group of folks down there who are members of the BeachCombers Corvette Club. My wife and I bought our 2004 CE coupe from a wonderful couple in Chesapeake, VA. If you happen to hook up with some of the club memebers, please say "Hi!" from Minnesota.

I'd meet up with you for a drive but I finally got out of the suckhole that is Virginia. how's the weather down there?
check out the regional forum and see what the ratpack is up to. they have get togethers frequently.
As a life long Virginian I am offended by your statement. Virginia is many things but a "suckhole" is not one of them.
I hope you like those flat Iowa corn fields, perhaps those straight lines will better suit your driving style. As I recall you has some issues keeping up during a couple of our cruises.
