Z Newb...
I originally posted this in the general section, thought I would post it here...Flew in to Raleigh NC to pick up my new 04 Black/Mod Red Z and drive it back to Florida. I've owned a few C3's but have never driven a C5 Z.
All I can say is, what a beast. Talk about bang for the buck, it's well balanced, looks great and is comfortable. The car was tuned (dynoed 366hp), has P2's, stainless brake lines, aftermarket brake pads and a few additional accessories and shows 13k miles on the clock.
I bought the car from a forum member (thanks Steve) and it was exactly as advertised. Thanks CF.
Let the modding begin.

Got to love a black Z with mod red. Looks like a nice find and right in my back yard. LOL. Enjoy your new ride and I know you will.

I picked up an '02 Z about a month ago that had 18,500 miles on it and was in beautiful, as new condition.
How you guys keep these amazing cars with such low miles is beyond me. Unless you're loaded and have a bunch of cars to rotate I can't imagine letting a Z06 sit without being driven.

I hadn't driven a Z06 before test driving mine the day I bought it a month or so ago either. I'd been shopping online, had test driven a few regular C5s, but the Z was love at first drive. Just felt like a beast, it has the all around total package IMO. Love it. Definitely the best buy in used sports cars right now, for $25k or so you get a monster performer.

Gm fan, I agree, for $25k +/- by far the best bang for the buck, I don't think the passenger seat was sat in 5 times...interior still smells new.
1996Z15, while the car won't be a daily driver it will be driven hard, I'm not easy on my cars.
