I had a 1964 Vert (with hardtop), got it when I was 18 (it was 4 years old). I hated long drives in it WHEN I WAS 18. And if you got stuck in traffic, your leg would be sore from the clutch.
I agree with all others, to drive a C5 is best, not really sure what a C2 is best at, looking at it ?

Couldn't have said it better. You're right that the C2 will keep its value much better and the C5 will be a car you can drive in comfort with impressive power.

Absolutely no contest. The C2 is an iconic car whereas the C5 is a mass produced sports car. I think anyone who looks at it objectively would much rather have the C2. I love my 99 but if the opportunity ever came up to swap, I'd do it in a New York minute.
