Having the cf run all the way up the windshield like that.
Are you going to be offering these in other colors as well?

There is a plastic pin holding the lower trim piece to the upper inside "A" pillar trim. Remove the pin then pop off the lower piece leaving the upper trim piece loose. Then there is another plastic pin visible at the bottom of the weather stripping, remove it. Carefully start to remove the rubber weather stripping as there are two more plastic pins hidden inside that bulky piece of rubber. The rubber will just pop off those pins. Remove those two pins and put aside with the other one. Carefully pull the rubber weather stripping out of the groove and continue until almost at the top of the windshield. Leave the rubber weatherstripping attached but dangling, I stuffed the end in between the visor and top of the winshield just to get it out of the way. DO NOT REMOVE THE WEATHERSTRIPPING COMPLETELY AS IT IS NOT NECESSARY!
Now locate the four-five screws holding the weather stip channel and remove them as well as the channel. There will be some sealant goo on it so be careful not to get it on the paint/leather, etc. Next locate the six screws holding the "A" pillar to the windshield frame and remove them. The whole "A" pillar will now come off easily.
Install the new one in reverse. After the channel is re-attached push the rubber back into the channel until you get down to the bottom where the bulky end is. You will see where the two hidden plastic pins go in the bulky part of the rubber weather stripping. Insert the two pins, locate the holes that they go into and push them all the way in.(early C5 only had two pins so I had to drill a hole in the "A" pillar for the second pin, no biggie) Then locate the hole for the third plastic pin and push it in. Reattach the lower trim piece and secure the upper/lower trim piece with the other plastic pin.
I should have taken pics as I did this as it is very simple to do. I did one side at a time so I could compare how the weatherstripping was seated in the channel. Open and close the door (window up) to see if the rubber is seated properly.
This should only take an hour at most. The service manual was helpful with diagrams showing the diferent screw locations.
