finally got a nice c5
hello everyone,
just joined today after looking for quite some time....found a nice '98 at a local dealer, 93k miles.....black leather, 6 speed....i believe the dealer said the wheels aren't original....
this thing is fun!
i'm glad to be part of the club
edit: it's got a couple nice exhaust mods which made me smile, namely the headers

Congrats dude.. any pictures? What exhaust came with it? First thing you should look into is making sure the CLB is installed. Do a search for CLB or 'Column Lock Bypass'. You can thank me later

no pix yet, i have to get another camera (mine died a couple months ago)....thanx for the info on the col lock -- i'll see if i can find out of the previous owner had that done
